AEM Technology Innovation: Leading a New Era of Efficient and Cost-Effective Hydrogen Production

2024-07-18

EPC (ElectroPowerCell) Energy Technology's independently operated AEM (Anion Exchange Membrane) hydrogen production system has completed its trial production and is currently undergoing testing. Based on customer needs, this system is equipped with integrated purification, supply, and backpressure systems.

EPC (ElectroPowerCell) Energy Technology has invested many years in the development of PEM electrolyzer technology. After more than a year of research and development, we have successfully developed the next-generation AEM water electrolysis system. We have reason to believe that the AEM hydrogen production system will be the next breakthrough in green hydrogen. Our AEM hydrogen production system has the following features:

1. High Efficiency

Our AEM system uses lower electrolysis voltage and higher ionic conductivity, which makes it far more efficient than PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) electrolyzers. Under the same conditions, the AEM system can carry out electrolysis reactions more efficiently, thereby increasing the overall hydrogen production.

2. Cost Advantage

Compared to PEM systems, the AEM system is more cost-effective. This advantage is not only reflected in the cost of the equipment itself but also in the ability to use non-precious metal catalysts (such as nickel and iron), which further reduces overall operational costs, making hydrogen production more economical.

3. High Output

Our AEM system can produce over 0.5 cubic meters of hydrogen per hour. This means that the AEM system performs excellently in meeting industrial demands, providing stable and sufficient hydrogen supply for various applications.

4. Independent AEM Electrolyzers

In addition to the AEM hydrogen production system, we have also developed modular AEM electrolyzers available for customers to choose from.
