At the recently concluded “Win the Future” G60 Shanghai Nine Cities Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, Electro-power-cell Energy Tech (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. stood out from hundreds of participating projects with its cutting-edge platform, the “Methanol-Reformed High-Temperature Fuel Cell Technology”, and proudly received the Innovation Award. This achievement reaffirms our technological leadership and commercial potential in the field of green hydrogen.
The “Win the Future” G60 Shanghai Nine Cities Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is one of the most prestigious technology innovation events in the Yangtze River Delta. Jointly organized by the nine cities of the G60 Science & Innovation Corridor—Shanghai Songjiang, Jiaxing, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Huzhou, Xuancheng, Wuhu, Hefei, and Jinhua—the competition focuses on frontier fields such as advanced equipment, green energy, biomedicine, new materials, and next-generation information technology. It provides a platform for forward-looking technologies and promotes cross-sector innovation and high-quality industrial transformation.
This year’s competition attracted more than 500 project teams. After intense competition, Electro-power-cell Energy Tech was highly praised by the jury for the originality, maturity, and market potential of its “Methanol-Reformed High-Temperature Fuel Cell” technology and ultimately won the Innovation Award.
The award-winning Methanol-Reformed High-Temperature Fuel Cell System showcases Electro-power-cell Energy Tech’s continuous innovation in the integration of green energy systems. The platform is composed of three core modules:
Green Methanol Hydrogen Supply Module: Uses renewable methanol as a hydrogen carrier. Through catalytic reforming, it enables stable and efficient on-site hydrogen generation, improving transport safety while significantly reducing the cost of green hydrogen, making clean hydrogen both accessible and usable.
HT-PEMFC High-Temperature Fuel Cell System: Based on phosphoric acid-doped polymer electrolyte membranes, it operates stably at 160–180°C. With strong impurity tolerance, high cogeneration efficiency, and favorable startup characteristics, it is an ideal solution for green hydrogen power generation in complex environments.
Modular Design Platform: The entire system adopts a highly modular structure, with each module scalable from 5 to 30 kW. It supports parallel deployment and intelligent dispatching, making it suitable for emergency power, off-grid microgrids, heavy-duty transportation, and energy supply in remote areas.
This integrated system meets the growing demand for diverse and practical green hydrogen utilization and is poised to play a vital role in the future distributed energy market.
