Recently, EPC Energy (Electro Power Cell Energy Technology) successfully completed the design, manufacturing, commissioning, and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of a hydrogen production and storage integrated system. The equipment has now entered the on-site installation phase and will support long-term operation testing for a hydrogen energy demonstration project.
The successful delivery once again validates EPC Energy’s engineering capability in hydrogen system integration, water electrolysis technology, hydrogen purification and compression, and multi-level safety control.
The delivered solution is a skid-mounted, modular Hydrogen Production & Storage System, consisting of:
Ultrapure water treatment and circulation system
Hydrogen production electrolyzer module (alkaline / PEM / AEM available upon request)
Gas–liquid separation, drying, and purification units
Hydrogen compression module (supporting multi-stage boosting)
High-pressure hydrogen storage module (10–20 MPa options)
Integrated PLC control system with touchscreen and data interface
With its standardized module architecture, the system can be rapidly deployed across various scenarios, including research platforms, distributed hydrogen solutions, small on-site hydrogen stations, and green hydrogen energy storage projects.

All subsystems—electrolysis, purification, pressure regulation, safety components, and sensor networks—are arranged within a structured and transparent enclosure, simplifying operation, maintenance, inspection, and training.
The system features:
Real-time monitoring of pressure, temperature, and flow rates
Hydrogen leak detection and alarm system
Automatic venting and interlock protection
Self-diagnostic mechanisms
These measures ensure stable and safe long-term operation across both research and industrial environments.
The system can be flexibly expanded to integrate with:
Fuel cells (HT-PEMFC / SOFC)
PV/wind hybrid microgrid systems
PtX modules such as methanation or methanol synthesis
CO₂ electrolyzers or carbon capture units (DAC/CCUS)
This makes it a versatile platform for future hydrogen and Power-to-X demonstration projects.
EPC’s engineering team independently completed the end-to-end development process, including:
PFD & P&ID process package design
3D structural modeling and piping layout
Selection of valves, compressors, sensors, and key components
System assembly, welding, and integration
PLC programming and safety logic development
Pressure testing, leak testing, and full stability run tests before FAT
As shown in the final system photos, the clean layout and compact assembly reflect EPC Energy’s strong engineering and manufacturing standards.

This hydrogen production and storage system is designed for:
University and research institution hydrogen teaching & testing platforms
Small-scale on-site hydrogen production stations
Distributed energy systems coupling PV/wind with hydrogen storage
PtX pilot platforms (methanation, fuel cells, CO₂ electrolysis, etc.)
The system includes remote data interfaces for continuous monitoring, long-term data acquisition, and operational optimization.
As a technology-driven company specializing in green hydrogen, hydrogen production systems, hydrogen storage equipment, PtX technologies, synthetic green methane, and modular skid-mounted energy solutions, EPC Energy continues to deliver scalable, replicable, and rapidly deployable engineering systems worldwide.
