Recently, Electro Power Cell Energy Technology (EPC Energy) successfully completed the manufacturing, testing, and export delivery of a batch of CO₂ electrolyzer systems and key system components. The equipment has been shipped via the Shanghai port and delivered to a North America customer, where it will be deployed in a carbon capture and conversion demonstration system, covering CO₂ electroreduction (CO₂RR) and DAC (Direct Air Capture) combined with CO₂ conversion pathways.
This successful delivery further demonstrates EPC Energy’s comprehensive capabilities in CO₂ electrolysis equipment engineering, international project delivery, and system integration for DAC-related applications, and reflects growing recognition from overseas partners.

The delivered products to the North America client include:
CO₂ Electrolyzers
Designed for electrochemical conversion reactions such as CO₂ → CO or syngas, adaptable to different catalyst systems and operating conditions.
System Materials and Structural Components
Including flow-field components, stack support structures, and corrosion-resistant materials suitable for long-term operation in CO₂ electrolysis and DAC systems.
Auxiliary System Parts and Accessories
Covering interface components, fasteners, and auxiliary installation parts to facilitate system integration.
All equipment underwent standard quality control procedures prior to shipment, including visual inspection, electrical performance verification, pressure testing, leak testing, and final pre-packaging checks. Reinforced wooden crates were used to ensure safety and reliability during international transportation.
EPC Energy’s CO₂ electrolyzer systems adopt a modular architecture that can be flexibly adapted to different operating conditions. The design supports scaling from laboratory research and pilot testing to engineering-level demonstration systems, making it well suited for DAC + CO₂ conversion projects at various stages.
The systems are compatible with PEM, AEM, and BPM membrane electrode assemblies, meeting the needs of multiple technical routes in the international market and providing high flexibility for DAC and CO₂ electroreduction applications.
Optimized fluid distribution, sealing structures, and stack support designs enhance operational stability while improving accessibility for maintenance, enabling long-term testing and demonstration operation.
The CO₂ electrolyzers and associated components can be rapidly integrated with the customer’s existing power supply systems, gas management systems, and control platforms, reducing system assembly and commissioning time.
To support North America and other international markets, EPC Energy has established a standardized delivery workflow, including:
Product manufacturing and quality inspection
Export-grade packaging and reinforcement
Preparation of commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs documentation
International logistics coordination and export customs clearance
Shipment of serial numbers and complete technical documentation
This structured process provides strong support for the cross-border implementation of DAC, CO₂ electrolysis, and PtX projects, helping customers reduce execution risks.
Electro Power Cell Energy Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. focuses on core technologies related to renewable energy and carbon management, including:
Water electrolysis for hydrogen production (PEM / AEM / ALK)
